My garage cable snapped and my cars were trapped in the garage and I was trapped at home. The door was so heavy that I could not open it manually. I called Green Home Garage Door and Gate Repair and they came right away. Apparently, both cables, one on either side of the balance, had snapped and that's why I couldn't open the door manually. I have had garage door issues since I bought this place 12 years ago and I had so many service visits from other garage door companies and no one said my cables were frayed. I've found my garage people. Ben fixed it in 40 minutes, the price was right, and the door has never operated so smoothly in all the years I have owned this place. We had a wonderful experience with Ben from Green Home Garage Door and Gate Repair! When our older garage door system broke, trapping our cars inside on a Saturday night, we contacted Ben and heard back from him within a half hour. He took time to look at our pictures and videos over the phone on a Saturday night to assess what he believed to be the issue, and he said he could come first thing Sunday morning. Ben arrived promptly, did a thorough inspection of our older system, and explained to us what the current issue was. He also told us about what he suspected could be another issue in the near future. He clearly broke down the pricing for parts and labor for the current issue as well as what it would take to fix the potential future issue now vs. waiting and needing to bring him back again. He was not pushy at all, and we appreciated his honesty. We decided to fix both issues, and our whole experience took just under an hour. Fantastic work. Great communication and pricing. Called around 5pm because of an emergency where my garage door was stuck open and he was there in less than 15 minutes. I have a motor gate that was malfunctioning for years. The gate kept creeping off it’s settings and banging into the post. I’ve had several people out to service it and tried fixing myself but to no avail.
